Shipping Policy

All of our products are handcrafted with care and shipped directly from our studio in Wailuku, Maui, Hawai‘i.

We are not responsible for packages marked as "delivered" that have not been received. For door to door coverage please opt in to Route Protection.

Package Protection with Route

We are proud to offer Route Package Protection at checkout for added peace of mind.

Orders protected with Route are covered in the event of:

  • Lost packages

  • Stolen packages

  • Damaged shipments

  • Carrier delivery issues

Claims may be filed directly through Route and are typically resolved quickly through their support team.

If Route Package Protection is declined at checkout, orders are not covered for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages once marked delivered by the shipping carrier. While we are always happy to assist where possible, To Be Hawai‘i cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for uninsured shipments.

Order Processing

  • Retail orders ship within 1–3 business days after your order is placed.

  • Our studio is closed on Sundays, so orders placed on Saturday After 3pm HST through Sunday will be processed the following business day.

  • Many of our items are made-to-order to ensure freshness and quality.

Shipping Address

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.
If you notice an error, contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can make corrections before your order ships.
Once a parcel has shipped, we are not responsible for packages sent to an incorrect address.

Domestic Shipping

Shipping Information

We ship all domestic orders via USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx, depending on the shipping method selected at checkout.

Please allow 1–3 business days for order processing before your package is shipped.

While carriers may display estimated delivery dates at checkout, these dates are provided directly by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Due to our location in Hawaiʻi, transit times can vary and may be longer than carrier estimates.

USPS Ground Advantage (our included free shipping $75+) & Priority Mail

  • USPS delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

  • Most shipments from Hawaiʻi arrive within 5–8 business days, though delays can occur due to weather, transportation schedules, or carrier operations.

UPS & FedEx Expedited Shipping

  • UPS and FedEx are the fastest shipping options available.

  • Estimated transit times are typically 2–3 business days after the carrier receives your package.

  • Transit times begin once the package has been picked up and scanned by the carrier, not when the order is placed.

  • Delivery dates remain estimates and are not guaranteed unless otherwise stated by the carrier.

We are unable to guarantee delivery dates and cannot be responsible for carrier delays once a package has been accepted by USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order leaves our studio.
Please note that delivery times are estimates provided by carriers. Delays due to weather, staffing, or other circumstances are beyond our control.

Free Shipping

We offer free shipping on U.S. orders over $75.
Orders shipped with free shipping will be sent via USPS Ground Advantage which can take 5–16 days to arrive.
Expedited shipping is available for an additional charge at checkout.

International Shipping

We’re happy to offer international shipping via FedEx, UPS, or DHL, available at checkout.
Please note that tariffs, duties, and customs fees are not included in the product or shipping prices and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Once your parcel leaves our studio, To Be Hawai‘i is not responsible for carrier delays or transit times.

Refund & Shipping Policy

At To Be Hawai‘i, each product is thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches on Maui and carefully inspected before it leaves our studio. We take great care in creating and packaging every order with intention and aloha.

Marked Delivered But Not Received

If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend:

  • Checking with neighbors or household members

  • Verifying the shipping address

  • Contacting your local USPS office directly

While we are always happy to assist where possible, packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier are considered fulfilled unless protected through Route Package Protection.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [email protected] and include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item(s)

  • Photos of the packaging

For orders protected with Route Package Protection, claims for damaged shipments may be filed directly through Route for quick resolution.

For orders not protected with Route, damage claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Missing Items

If any items are missing from your order, please notify us within 5 days of delivery so we may review and resolve the issue if applicable.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, candles, skincare, and body products cannot be returned or refunded once opened or used.

Because our products are handcrafted in small batches and many are made-to-order, we are unable to offer exchanges at this time.

Shipping & Order Accuracy

Please carefully review your shipping address and order details before placing your order.

If you need to make changes, contact us immediately at [email protected]. While we will do our best to accommodate updates, we cannot guarantee modifications once an order has been processed or shipped.

To Be Hawai‘i is not responsible for packages shipped to incorrectly entered addresses or orders lost due to address errors provided at checkout.
